HISTORY
David Pinske Design & Build was begun by David Pinske in 1986 and incorporated by Dave and his brother Ned in 1994. The company has thrived with satisfied clients by providing quality materials, skilled labor and well managed consistent subcontractors. Our projects range from replacing a failed window, to additions, to whole house renovations.
David graduated from the University of Minnesota - School of Architecture. He chose to apply this knowledge to his practical experience by pursuing his passion as a residential carpenter. He continues this pursuit as he supervises and works on each project.
Ned Pinske graduated from Mankato State University - School of Business with a degree in Construction Management. Ned also applied his knowledge to the residential construction industry, working first as a material estimator and then as a project manager. Ned joined Dave in 1991 to manage the growing business.
A FAMILY TRADITION OF TIMELESS INNOVATIVE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION.
In 1896, our great grandfather Theodore Pinske began his construction business. Together with his son Edward H., they adopted and began to perfect the gothic roof design on their barn building projects. This unique design eliminated the crossbeams and posts required in traditional roof construction, providing more efficient and open space for hay storage.
In 1963, our father Edward Junior "EJ" took over the construction business. By age 10, both Dave and I were working on the construction site during school breaks and summer vacations.
Construction is our heritage and in our blood. We strive to honor the values of hard work, high standards, and innovation passed on to us by Theodore, Edward H. , and EJ Pinske.

'The Pinske's are sophisticated in their industry knowledge, without being fancy. They do great work and know what they are doing.'
